Scrapbooking is one of the many things I like to do. From time to time I will write about something in that area that interests me and hopefully someone else.

Anniversary Card for My Son and Daughter-in-Law
My son and daughter-in-law will be celebrating their 7th wedding anniversary this coming Monday.
This is a 6 X 6 card made from cardstock (probably DCWV) that was in my scrap stash. The inside of the cardstock is a pretty orange with embossed glittered flowers.
I rounded all the corners 1/2 inch (WRMK Crop-A-Dile Corner Chromper) then inked the edges ( Rangers Salty Ocean Distress Ink). Vellum (Emagination) was embossed (Teresa Collins eBosser and Intertwined Ring embossing folder), a 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 piece was adhered to the front of the card.
On the inside the sentiments (Fiskars and Martha Stewart) were stamped ( Rangers Archival Jet Black Ink and Fiskars Stamper)
Flowers (Petaloo, Prima and Recollections), and Brad (Stash) were adhered with hot glue to the front of the card.
Ribbon ( American Crafts) and Flourish ( Want 2 Scrap) were also added to the front of the card. The ribbon is aided to staying in place with Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive.
The sentiment on the front of the card is a piece of stash cardstock with all corners rounded I/4 inch. The edges were inked ( Ranger Fired Brick Distress Ink ). It was stamped ( Susan Branch Letters & Numbers) with Rangers Distress Embossing Ink. Then it was heat embossed ( Ranger Heat It) and was adhered to the card front with Recollections Foam Adhesive. NOTE: The vellum is sticky backed
I believe a person should live their life to the fullest in the Lord, not merely exist.
The things I love to do are studying the Bible, travelling, photography, scrapbooking, gardening and reading. Since retiring in January 2007 I now have time to enjoy all of these things.
